hey... no more AMD for me buddy...

i've switched...

just waiting for the new ic7 max 3 to come out and i'm switching over to intel...


so yeah it'll be more like... 12 x 280 or higher with a 5:4 divider 🙂

but it wouldn't hurt to run pc4000 ram @ 224 with 2-2-2-6 timings 🙂

my barton is still sitting on the ground (the one that did 2.4 ghz)

and my 2.5 ghz 1700+ is in my system right now...

once i get the intel setup, i'm going to sell off my nb/sb modded nf7-s 2.0, 1700+, 2500+, and my generic winbond bh-5 memory

HyperX came out today and is on sale today and in stock....Looks like OCZ paper launched theirs...no prices, no place to order it, nothing...

looks like they got pressure from kingston IMHO
 
The Kingstom 4000 looks like crap to me.Timings of 3/4/4/8 at DDR 500,what the hell is that.My OCZ Gold does that already at 2.65V.I tested it on memtest86 yesterday.Kingston is a little late with this ram.We'll see how the Kingston overclocks aswell.My OCZ Gold 3700 ran 540 DDR into windows,not stable.
 
By the way,I can run 2.5/3/3/7 2.8 vdimm DDR 500 with the OCZ. I won't say everybody that buys that ram will run that but there is a good chance it might.They have an excellent RMA service too.
