OCZ PowerStream 520W

I just bought a OCZ PowerStream 520W and I am a bit shaky at the cost, can anyone reassure me it was money well spent?.

My PC keeps locking up with this new GPU and the refund warranty on my other PSU was almost over, so I figured I would buy a new PSU and if that didn't fix my problem I would send the GPU (BFG 6800 GT OC) back.

So did I make a good choice? I don't overclock (I might later on).

My old PSU was an Aspire 520W 34a 12v.

I was going to buy a Fortune or Sparkle 550W, but I took a 32 dollar leap for the OCZ PowerStream 520W.

I wouldn't stress too much over $32.

Do you need such a beefy PSU? Probably not.

But take comfort in the fact that you have arguably the best PSU on the market, with the best warranty on the market. Should you decide to upgrade/overclock to almost any possible configuration, you won't have to replace your PSU.

They aren't cheap, but I feel the PSU is the most important component, and thus money well spent.

They're not quiet either, from what I've read. 😉
