OCZ powerstream 520

Hello,

I was wondering if the Powestream worth $140. For $80, you can buy a 480W Tagan w/ active PFC and for $120 you can buy Enermax Noisetaker 485W w/ active PFC. Why are Enermax and Ocz so expensive, or why is Tagan so cheap? It sure is a quality unit, isn't it? And ~40 W isn't a great difference imo.Tagan has 28A on 12v rail. OCZ has 33A, and Enermax has dual 12V rails with a total of 31A (all these three values are high enough for an high-end system i guess?) In the reviews, i saw that all three are stable enough on load...
So, what would make me choose OCZ Powerstream, which has no active PFC and costs ~$140, over Tagan or Enermax, both with active PFC and very good performance.

Thanks.

Another choice would be the Seasonic Super Silencer 460W, which I think can be had for $116 shipped from newegg:

Seasonic SS 460W

Very efficient, active PFC, and extremely quiet. And very high quality.

I think i'm personally going with the OCZ Modstream 520w. It looks awsome, and the power seems to be more than enough, even though there are a few reports/rumors around here about low 12v rails (hopefully i wont be one of those people...)

I recently read a review of the OCZ in comparison to a TP430 and a BeQuiet 400+W PSU, and although the conclusion was that the OCZ was the best, the oscilloscope readouts showed 2 frequency waves from the rails of the OCZ unit. Also, taking the cover off the PSU revealed some Teapo caps, which generally aren't very good. The PSU also seems to be manufactured by Topower.

Mwave has that exact same Enermax powersupply for $99.
That's what I have and I'm very happy with it.

Agreed, I'd take that over the units mentioned above.
