These are not Micron D9's. They are Promos chips.

I agree.

I couldn't believe "platinum" memory from OCZ would be using Promos. Why not just call it BUDGET MEMORY instead of selling it with the OCZ label having many DUPED into buying it.

I am sure they marketed the CROSSFIRE Heat spreaders with this Promos memory under it also. They had to do something to sell it? like cover it UP??

Otherwise I hope they INFORM the community when they use promos chips vs. micron or prove that it is as OC as micron memory..
