OCZ Platimun Rev. 2 DDR400.... Failing?

Well here is my problem. The RAM used to run at 2 3 3 5 @ 233MHz with no issues, now it fails Memtest in less than 15 minutes. Voltage is the same 2.85V. If I want to feed more Volts I might have to mod the VDimm. Also I could run it at 2 2 2 5 @ 210MHz and not it fails. I have to run the machine at 2 3 3 5 225MHz now so I am down to 2.7GHz from 2.8GHz, I do not mind loosing 100MHz, but it does make a slight difference is somethings. I guess I will live or just buy a new system. Should I contact OCZ for a RMA? I noticed issues when the PC stated to randomly BSODing on me when in heavy RAM usage. What is the best thing to do?

Thanks in advance.

Alex

Try 2-2-2-7 and raise the higher insignificant timings a notch or two(forget what they are called) (If you have the older TCCD chips, don't know much about the TCC5's)

Mine would run up to 235 at those timings. And if you RMA you won't likely get the nice TCCD chips as they have been out of production for quite some time
