Go with the OCZ. IMO they are the best ram to buy for OCing. And just a heads up Newegg has a better price on the OCZ than Excalibur.

OCZ.

BUT....this is a Huge but.....

Read this:

Speed vs. Timings

To get A64 3000+ 90nm @2.0ghz to 2.4ghz you'll need to run at 240mhz.

I doubt either ram will be happy running at 2-2-2-5 at these speeds.
Test Results: OCZ PC3200 Platinum Rev. 2
Test Results: G. Skill TCCD

Now lets see your total cost with the amazing OCZ ram:
A64 3000+ 2.0ghz = $195
OCZ Rev 2 = $285
Total Cost = $480

You should know that if you run at low latency timings at 200mhz with ratios you are going to lose at most 3-4% performance if that.

But get this:
Kingston 1GB PC3200 400MHz 2-64x64 HyperX DDR Memory 184Pin 2-3-2-6 = $160
And that leaves you with $320 to blow on a CPU.

You can get A64 3500+ for $275 AND CoolerMaster 6 or Thermalright XP-90/120 cooler with that.
Which system do you think will have better overclocking potential? You are also getting extra 200mhz on cpu speed guaranteed right off the bat, which means 10% higher theoretical performance.

I'd just dont see a reason of spending so much money on RAM. Maybe I am not enthusiastic enough... :)
Of course you can get "lucky" and get A64 3000+ to the same overclocking ceiling as the 3500+, but do you want to take your chances?
