Just wanted to let everyone know of my experience with the OCZ PC-3200 Dual Channel Platinum Edition series RAM. I bought a 1 Gig dual channel kit (2x512MB sticks) and it is running quite happily and very stable at 2-2-2-6 1T command rate on my EPoX 9NPA+ Ultra mobo with A64 3500+ Newcastle core CPU. These sticks are HEAVY. Those solid copper heatspreaders are massive, and look very nice since they are platinum plated. Passed MemTest86+ 1.55 four times, and will do a Prime95 test tonight, but I am sure there will be no problems given that MemTest always catches anything that Prime95 would. I am not overclocked, so I cannot comment on that, but it is at 2.75 VDIMM and I could not be happier. I had 2 x512 MB sticks of Patriot XBLK PC3200 and the best it would do on my machine is 2-3-2-6 1T command, which really pisses me off because I spent $225 on those sticks, and only $207 on the OCZ RAM (of course I bought them a month apart). I have used a lot of OCZ in the past, even for budget builds, and never had trouble until I tried the Patriot. I will never use anything but OCZ again. Lesson learned.
