Their drives totally kick ass for both performance and value.

I have owned 5 and never had an issue- yet so many losers complain about them that don't even own them.

What's up with that?

Because they DO have issues. The only real reason you should buy OCZ's drives is because they're considerably cheaper than the competition's--nothing else.

If I could've gotten a Crucial m4 128GB for $150 I sure as hell would've gone with that instead of what I have. The Vertex 3 is still good provided you have the latest firmware, but with the early firmwares they're absolute trash.
 
Bought these to deploy at work, 1/3 of them failed after a few month, if you go to the ocz support forum, you can see tons of people have problems, I think there was an article a few months ago, ocz had 6% rma vs 1-2% for everyone else.

I stop buying ocz, using liteon and samsungs now
 
what I want to know is.. why would anyone start a thread like this around this joint?

although.. someone sticking their head into an oven full of crap and making funny faces can be funny to some.
