I'm looking to buy a replacement PSU as mine is crapping out on me. Here is what I'm looking at...

OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240 V - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817341002

and here's what I plan on running on the PSU...

Asus P5W DH Deluxe MOBO
Pentium D 920 OC'ed to 3.65GHz
4GB of DDR2 RAM (4x1GB sticks)
ATI 1900XTX
5 SATA HDs
X-Fi XtremeMusic Sound Card
1 DVD-RW
1 CD-RW/DVD Combo
2 120mm Fans
2 80mm fans

What do you think? Any other suggestions ($125 is my max price)?

I'd suggest the Corsair HX620 instead, as it's quieter, performs better, & doesn't have limiters on each +12V rail, which means more flexibility for high end future video cards IMO...

It's reviewed on jonnyguru. Pretty good overall, but has an issue with ripple. I personally have the FSP Epsilon 600W which is the same except less juice on the +12V.

:) That power supply should be enough to handle your requirements. Quad 12v rails are pretty impressive but probably necessary with the load you're going to be putting on it...

thanks for your replies everyone. I think I will go with the 700W as its in my range and looks like a nice PSU. I plan on running dual cards eventually and this one seems like it would be ok.

I'd get the Corsair HX620 or one of the Silverstone Zeus series.
The FSP Epsilons and GameXStreams go out of ATX ripple spec at full load when NEW.
So are they going to provide clean current three years later at 60% load? IDK but we
will find out. Dirty current works board and card capacitors hard. This will shorten thier
service life down the line and dirty current causes instability and reduces OCability.

ye then it should be fine, it will act as an exhaust taking air from the area where your cpu hsf will most likely be
