Hmm so the 500w Seasonc will do? I will have a 4200+, eventually two 7900GTs and two optical drives one hdd.

Yeah the 500W Seasonic should be enough for that. As would almost any other 500W+ PSU from a good company for that matter.

I believe more is better, but quality for sure. SeasonicS-12 600W. So what's a few dollars more, its worth it.

Also are these all the same size? I have an XG Dragon that came with a pos MGE 500w PSU. Will the Seasonic fit?

I'd recommend Seasonic, but you don't need the 600W version most likely.


Reasons:

1) Dead Silent (Vastly superior to others)
2) Stability (Like any other good power supply)
3) Support (I know of atleast one incident where Seasonic replaced a computer which was damaged by a faulty powersupply)
