Ocz DDR Booster not displaying LED. How to make it?

As the title says, I have a DDR Booster and on my wifes TIVO comp, it displays the Voltage LED just fine. But in my computer it won't? IT used to when I had and old generic 450w ps, But I have since replaced it with a Antec True Power 2.0 550Watt Power Supply.

How can I 'make' it display the LED readout? I am using the Asrock m1695 mobo. Thanks 🙂

You need a -5v line in order for the LED to work. The newer PSU's, such as the True Power 2.0, do not feature the -5v line because not a lot of devices use it nowadays. The DDR Booster most likely works, but you just don't see the readout anymore.

Hi, it does work but I cannot see the setting i'm putting it on. And this stupid mobo doesn't have a voltage sensor to the memory so I can see what it is setting it too.

Is there any way that I can at least use a voltage meter on a dimm slot to see what the DDR Booster is putting the voltage at?? Anyone know where to put the connections?

You can use a digital multimeter to see the voltage. Just connect the + and - wires from the multimeter to the pads on the capacitors on the back of the DDR Booster. They should be labelled + and - on them.
