I just did this with 2 crucial m4's, I'm getting 950mb/s on sequential reads. Upgraded from an Agility 2.

Told you !!! There is no way a single SSD can achieve 950MB/S because SATAIII has 600 MB/S limitation, I gusse.

Through the sata connection its not possible, but through pci-e its absolutely possible. The newest pci-e SSDs can get 2TB Reads and 1.7TB Writes! and that is from a single card!

And the theoretical max for a sata hard drive is 6gb/8= .75GB= 750MB/s

That was my self-imposed threshold for SSD ownership... I got a Vertex Plus 240gb for $200 a while back, and I'm very happy I did. Think I'll pick up this Agility 3 for my fiancee
