ZZF-OCZ PSU
$132.99 - $25 MIR = $107.99 free shipping or $1.99 for 2 day ship.
The MIR has to be postmarked 10 days after purchase date, so I chose 2 day shipping to be safe.

me too.. having a modular power supply, i just don't want to go back to a non-modular (and much better looking.. can't believe i care about the aethestics of a PSU, lol)... but the corsair iis like $20 more given the rebates; $20 rebate & FS on the Corsair...

they are both 'top of the line' PSUs, hard to choose

hmm.. jonnyguru.com, which seems to specialize in PSU reviews (they are quite thorough) also has a review of the OCZ GameXstream 700W. not as stellar of a review the Corsair unit recieved, but decent overall rating.

Note that JonnyGuru found that when you tax the OCZ power supply heavily the voltage fluctuates outside of ATX specifications, which could harm your processor, GPU, etc.

I remember reading the johnnyguru review after I received my OCZ 700w Gamestream. However, I haven't had any problems with it running an overclocked FX-55, 7900gto, 2 gb ram, dvd-rw, and 5 hard drives...

I guess the only way to tell if the OCZ will die on you is to use 650+ watts... So that means dual SLI, and a P4 guzzler, and 6 HDs. :)

The OCZ unit is the same as the Fortron (they made OCZ's 700w Gamestream), so if you find it cheaper...
Silverstone looks Good.
Corsair is nice.

Honestly, you really can't go wrong with either of them. Just note that footnote if you are going to come anywhere close to maxing the PSU.
