OCZ 420w good enough?

My next computer will most definitely be using a OCZ psu, but I'm curious if the 420w will be sufficient. I won't be running too many things, just 1 hd, 1 dvd drive, athlon 64 3000 winchester, 6800gt. I know 420w is plenty sufficient, but this will be a heavily overclocked system. I know psu quality is important when OCing, but what about wattage? I'm thinking I just need enough watts for each component, and that more wouldn't make any difference OCing, but I thought I should get some second opinions.

Sure it will unless you plan on getting another 6800 and SLI ing it with a Socket 939 and possibly upgrading the CPU along with some more Hardware in the near future after it's assembled and OC'd 😉

It's not the wattage that's most important, it's the amperage on the individual rails that will determine system stability (the more you load on a rail, the lower the voltage goes till you're out of spec and experience instability--of course heat will also be going up and efficiency decreasing as well, but that's a bit beside the point). In any case though you should be fine with that unit.
