OCWORKBENCH.COM ULi review

Those ULI chips are looking real good. What's nforce again?

I won't jump on the bandwagon until they come out though and are proven...but they're looking very optimistic 🙂

Yeah, I'm gettin' one of these! It just goes to show, that a northbridge memory controller can be just as good as an integrated memory controller.

What the hell are you talking about? The memory controller is still on the CPU.

The previous ULi chipsets have been horrible overclockers, but if this is a great overclocker and supports AGP 8x, I may just jump on it.

I thought I read that there was a memory controler on the northbridge. 😕

eh?

all A64's have the memory controller on DIE

all Nvidia did with the NF3 and above is combine the south bridge, and what remains of the northbridge together. with out the need for the Northbridge to have a memory controller....id imagine theres not alot of transistors left
