I thought the review that they did on the Soltek KT133A mobo was pretty good. This looks like a dream mobo for the Ocer, just fire up the auto overclocking mode and the BIOS finds the highest speed.

Their initial review of the P3V4X was very disappointing. They mentioned "unresolvable" issues that were already covered and fixed on message boards. I just wish they would've researched the board a bit more before winging a quick review.

Actually, you know what really disappointing me...
It's the their new review on DFI KT133A board.
The "STUPID" reviewer got Duron name mixed up with Celeron. He's on my icq list, and when I told him that, then I also said, "how could you?" as a joke, then he told me off, "f**k you"... I was like what did I do.. geez.... and he said I am irriating...
First of all, how can he possibly mixed the name up...
Second, he shouldn't be an ass when someone pointed something out....

Actually their review of the Soltek KT133A and Anandtech's recent review has some variations in terms of stability/SDRAM issues. Looks like they do not do their homework properly. The moderator there was really anxious to get hits on his site a year ago - not surprised at the poor stuff they rush out.

yeah maybe his reaction to you letting him know that he mixed up the names of two different CPUs was uncalled for, but you must remember he is quite presured to put out reviews. he is the only reviewer at that site as far as i know. i have never seen a review written by someone else over there. and OCworkbench is nowhere near the caliber website as AnandTech is. i suppose such a mistake in a published review would be quite a surprise to come across, but we all know what he really meant. after all, you cant test a Duron on a Celery mobo - it wont fit the socket.

as for his reviews, i dont frequent OCworkbench for the reviews, but rather the forums. i enjoy that site very much, and i am almost as active in the forums there as i am here. i do enjoy his reviews b/c it gives me yet another perspective of what someone else thinks about a certain product, and it gives me one more review to compare to another.

Most of their reviews are very very breif, some of the software they use are OUT OF DATE, somehow kinda inaccurate. However, they have a page on every motherboard review full of picture, which is in a way useless. And they don't even care about graphic industry.

Actually there was a problem they encountered that was not specific to the P3V4X, but to many motherboard/CPU setups, but they blamed the problem on the P3V4X. This was the problem of Microsoft's Sidewinder 3D Pro joystick not being detected on many computers using an FSB over 100 MHz. (It might be well over 100 MHz since my Sidewinder 3D Pro worked at 112 MHz FSB, but not 126 MHz.)

I also e-mailed them (just one e-mail address found on the website) about their review and they replied very defensively. I got harsh e-mails from both the editor and the reviewer. In addition, I was suddenly subscribed to a few of their mailing lists and wasn't removed until after I sent a _few_ e-mails to them requesting removal.

ya.. you know why.. because the pathetic webmaster (the site is running mainly by one person) try to get as much visitors as possible. However, the reality is there are only so few readers visit their site. WHen I was on his ICQ list, he constantly send me message tell me to get some more people to go their site, which is extremely annoying....
I mean how pathetic is that, and he also constantly send me message tell me to post in the forum FREQUENTLY... but sometimes, I am busying at school work, but he thought it's an excuse, I mean even if it is, why does he still keep pressing me to post.. what a pathetic bastard....

Just because Anand had issues with his specific mobo doesn't mena tha OCworkbench screwed up. Anand gave the ABIT KT7 Editors Choice, what a joke. Read Jonnygurus review at Sytemlogic.net for a REAL review of this piece of crap.

Anands reviews are all froth and no beer. WAAAAAAAY too much cut and paste. They don't review REAL systems, with REAL components. W@hat you get are pages and pages of useless benchmarks.

Many mobos that Anand recieves are cherry picked by the manufacturers and are not representative of the real world.

If jack-ass can do better, lets see your reviews, otherwise STFU !!
