Yeah! That movie rocks! My GF and I have it on VHS and (me being the guy that I am) got it on DVD. (I hate seeking on VHS and the 'whine' sounds in the background)

Someone was asking what movie I wanted to see, but I'm so not a movie fanatic. :/ I'll mention this one as an option ... but I should read reviews first since I would't know your taste!

lol...that'd be Vanilla Sky, although he doesn't have much time to be a player in the movie. And yeah, October Sky was great...one of the first movies I saw that really featured Jake Gyllenhaal (sp?)

Don't worry. Its not Science Fiction so even you could understand it I felt like watching a movie while I was making dinner/relaxing on the couch. I happen to own a lot of DVDs and I like to watch movies. The movie is a true story based on the lives of 4 high schoolers in W. Virginia in the 1950s.

Was he Homer? What other movies has he been in?

Well he's kinda all over the map in terms of movie selection...the big cult movie is Donnie Darko, while the Good Girl (with Jennifer Aniston playing a not-so-good girl) was also a non-mainstream movie. His big starring role was The Day After Tomorrow and he was also the main guy in the running for Spiderman, after Tobey Maguire. (After TM hurt his back filming Seabiscuit, they almost pulled him and put Jake in for Spidey 2)
