Happy Birthday blackdogdeek, Harvey, episodic, pac1085, talyn00, JoeFahey & Allen Iverson! :beer;:gift;

I keep trying, but no matter how fast I go, i can't catch up to him. My birthday stays about 3 weeks after Harvey's. Here's to us making it through another year. We all miss you!

Hi, and thanks to the kind folks who remember me and my birthday. Sometimes, time catches up with you from behind. It happened to me last year when one of my musician friends wrote to ask for a copy of the lyrics to one of my songs called, "Whiskey Woman."

I didn't have a typed file on it, but I still have my spiral bound notebook from 1970 with the original handwritten lyrics, which I sent him. Then, for shits and giggles, I pasted the first line of the song into Google, and I FOUND IT! It was credited to another artist, but it me singing and playing my song.

There was also a publisher listed so I called him, and what followed was an amazing, almost fairy tale story that lead to a wonderful new friendship, including some royalties for the song that he had licensed to a movie production.

He has since posted seven of my tunes on YouTube, and I was able to hook him up with several of my songwriter/musician friends who have similarly benefited. Links if you want to hear them, you can view and freely download each of them at these direct links:

Many happy returns Harvey! 🎂🎂🎂🎂

My gift to you is, still not calling you. 15 minutes on the phone with me is worse than waterboarding. I'm certain of it.

Beachwood Hill is damned good. Touched my feels.

Happy Birthday! Hope you had a great day and continue to have a great year.

Happy Birthday you october people!

And happy birthday to Harvey especially. The man responsible for a lot of our rules when the forums was still in its infancy.

So... what was your hair care routine? 😛

Happy birthday
The curly hair is all natural. The first secret was finding a hair cutter who could cut and shape men's long, soft curly hair. After that, it was just shampooing and conditioning my hair in the shower. Then, I'd tie it back with a rubber band to keep it out of the way while shaving. After that, towel dry it and mess it up until it was dry.

Once it was dry, all I had to do was brush it out and shake/mess it up, and it stood up like that. I was a lucky guy, even more so because I still have my15 year old hairline, even after chemo and rad for throat cancer, although it's still curly, it doesn't stand up like that anymore.

The legend still visits the forums. Good to see you buddy.
