OC'ing with Rivatuner

How do I OC with Rivatuner? I mean, I see where I can, but I can't click the box that says "enable low-level hardware overclocking".

If you've unlocked the pipes and vertex shader, you'll need to overclock at the driver level. Open up RivaTuner and click the little button next to Customize... in the driver settings section. Then click the first icon (looks like a video card) and you'll see the sliders to overclock.

I had the same experience and beatle has it exactly right. I couldn't figure out why the low level box was grayed out but I guess it's because I had the pipes unlocked. I then overclocked my card at the driver level easily with rivatuner.

i was able to unlock the pipes and 6th vertex, but i can't OC the clock or memory even the slightest. if i try to up the memory or frequency by even the increment of 1, it says that it failed to pass the test. in fact, if i try to even underclock or change the sliders in general, it fails the test. is there something i'm doing wrong? i'm adjusting the settings within the driver settings. my only thought is that my 350w smartpower ps isn't giving enough juice to my nf7-s and mobile 2400+. either that or my card has been factory locked. any help would be appreciated

What drivers are you using for your card? RivaTuner was confused about what card I had when I used the latest Detonators.

i'm running the 67.20 nvidia drivers w/ the newest rivatuner drivers (ends w/ a 2). if my nvidia drivers are the problem, would it have prevented me from unlocking my pipes w/ rivatuner also?

Even when I disable the internal clock test I can't even OC it by 1 or even underclock it, must be missing something. I was able to open to 16 pipelines.

what's the difference/advantage of using RivaTuner versus using Coolbit to unlock the OC feature hidden on the driver?
