Yes. The processor don't like no 4 sticks. 2T command rate, and probably DDR333, too. 4 sticks not so good.

By doubling the number of memory modules, you are in effect doubling the chances of failure, or atleast increasing the possiblity that one module will be holding you back from achieving a higher OC, since memory modules can only operate at the speed of the slowest module.

depends on what your mobo is able to do as well......the new a8n-sli premium has no problem with 4x512 & 1T.....so w/e.
