OCing to 215*11 with a64 3500 venice

Im havin some troubles OCing my cpu. I changed my mem divider, and tried cranking some high MHZ but it just isn't happening for me...

raise your voltage some and see if that helps.

what exactly does raising voltage do? Im a little scared of trin to OC again cos last time i corrupted windows system file which cause alot of pain... and reformatting of certain partitions...

Only Prob is that my BIOS is completely different to the one show in that tutorial in the like above ^^^

U should be able be to see the multilier somewhere. Why don't u patiently go thro' all the BIOS options and see if u can see the multiplier. It should be named HTT Multiplier or LDT Multiplier. Check this link. This is ur best chance : http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mainboards/display/asus-a8ve-deluxe_10.html. It should be the LDT bus frequency. Fix it at 600.

Yep LDT and HTT multi are the same thing

1000=5x
800=4x
600=3x
400=2x
200=1x


You should set it at 600
