OC'ing the 1.8A on P4B533-E, really this easy?

I'm OC'ing the 1.8A on the Asus P4B533-E and have found it to easily go up to 133Mhz for a simple total of 2.4xyGhz. I only upped the voltage by .025 (I think thats right, I'm not even home right now). I do have a Crucial 2700 512MB DDR module, though.

All this on a cheap, old 230 watt PSU.

The temperature at load, via SETI as I'm not a hard core person with loads of diag/stress test software, is only 39C according to Asus Probe. Its 39C when I play BF1942 too. Its about 31-32C at idle.

Am I getting a false sense of successful OC'ing here? Geez, I've got stock CPU fan, 230 watt PSU, and a minor increase in voltage (VCORE). When I OC'ed my Cel 550 to just 850, it was a major pain in the ass to get all the settings just right for lockup-free operation.

I have a friend who has a 300watt PSU, a 1.8 and a Epox 4G4A+ , he gets that thing to 2.7 ghz pretty easily..... He has the stock HSF as well, you can probly get to 2.5/2.6 with a 1.6-1.65 Vcore probly just as easy...

Thats pretty good with a 230W supply. Be sure you also bring the mem speed up. There is a trick using a dipswitch on that board that will allow the 3:4 mem ratio to be used @ 133 and up FSB. This will give you a nice preformance boost as well. The P4B533 overvolts by ~ .05 from what I have seen. If you have the Vcore set in BIOS to 1.525, you are really running closer to 1.575. ASUS Probe also reads CPU temps ~ 5C lower than other boards do.
