I'm completely new to OCing and want to OC my 900 tbird on my brand new K7T Turbo-R.
I wanted to do it right the first time and went for the rear window defogger repair kit. I applied the stuff to all L1 bridges and the rightmost L6 bridge (making it a default 500) like the article on Anandtech suggested.
Now there are 2 problems:
1. When I boot it is still recognized as a 900 mhz, and I still only have multiplier settings of 9+ in the bios.
2. When I set the multiplier to 9.5 (x100) it won't post at all. However it boots up without a hitch at 954 (9x106) and will probably go higher but I only wanted to check that out at the time.
The only problems I could think of would be that the bridges arent covered enough, but they definitely seemed to be.
Could it be something else? I just wanted to ask before taking the thing apart again because I want to avoid (un-)installing the HSF (FOP32) as much as possible.
Let me know what you think, any help is greatly appreciated.
