plan on getting a 3100 sempron OEM and OC, which HSF would be good? ive been looking into those heatpipe ones are they any good?

PS first post and newbie =/

The Zalman CNPS7000A AlCu is a good heatsink too. Make sure the XP-120 will fit your motherboard, otherwise you may want to look at the XP-90.

thanks MDE, i sent thermalright a email, lets see if they respond, if the xp-120 didnt fit, would the xp-90 still be a good choice? or would anyone else have a good recommendation

The XP-90 would be fine. Honestly, I'd save some money and get an XP-90 right off the bat because it's already a very good heatsink.

hmm, but a little extra money for the 120 would probably be better becuase im overclocking though right? probably will have to get xp-90 though, the pics from the two chaintech mobo look very similar in space

The 120 would be better but I doubt that you would be able to get a higher overclock because of it.

well got the email from thermalright this is what he said..

This is a tight fit. You may lose Dimm #1 (having XP-120 heatpipe loop face memory slots). But it will be okay if you use only up to two memory slots.

Thank you for taking interest in Thermalright products!

ahhh =/ think ill just go with xp-90
