OCing problems

Im OCIng a Cely 433 with an Abit BM6 mobo, heres the problem...Im running SOFT POINT menu Version 2 on my BM^, when I go to set CPU speed manually I go from my default 433(66) to something like 7.5x(66) or do I move my whole FSB to 100? THe problem occuring is I move that up to 100 my computer wont even start all I can do is get into the BIOS, and if I just move up the multiplier, it just switches right back to 433(66) the default, do I gotta up the voltage? Right now its at 2.00volt if so what should I up it to? And what should I OC this baby too?

Try 2.1 or 2.2v... don't push it any further if it doesn't work any better. If you can't get a higher FSB stable just change the multiplier to the highest possible stable setting 😀

Your CPU (6.5x66=433) is multiplyer locked, changing it will achieve nothing. You can only overclock this CPU by changing the FSB, it is doughtfull your 66Mhz will go to 100FSB (50% overclock)

Check the manual & look at what FSB setting you have, realise that FSB setting out of spec (66or100 in spec) will raise both PCI & AGPMhz.

Go to overclockers and chech there database on what people have achieved with your CPU, check there voltage.
