I'm a newbie to overclocking.

Just wondering if there are any suggestions you guys have on overclocking a p4 2.6c on a MSI 865PE Neo2-FIS2R mobo....I have 2 sticks of 512mb kingston DDR400 ram and a radeon 9200se video card.

Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.... 😀

and let me know if something other then the standard p4 fan is needed and any reccomendations on what one. thanks

I would pump the FSB up to 250 with a 5/4 memory multiplier, so that you're not o/c'ing the RAM.

That should take you to 3.25Ghz and has been accomplished by a lot of people pretty easily.

Just make sure you lock the PCI and AGP busses to 33 and 66 respectively.

If you have trouble with 250.. you can start lower and creep up.
