OCing not allowed in Crysis 2 ?

Soo I would launch Crysis 2 and it shuts down comp if I have overclocked my video card even 10Mhz ,, sad...

Every other app works fine and I can OC the bujezeez of the card and it plays game perfect.



Whats up with this ? Ive had 2 hour sessions of hardcore gaming ,, btw.. Thanks for all input. thx

Nope, overclocking works fine for me and most other people with Crysis 2.

What defines "hardcore gaming" and how is it different than just regular gaming for 2 hours? Is Mountain Dew involved? Death Metal? I'm genuinely curious.

I can usually only hardcore game in 5 minute intervals. If I'm just regular gaming then I can go for hours. The hardcore stuff usually kills me. Hope this helps !
