Here's what I'm running:

P4 3.0C @ 3.4, 227mhz FSB (or ~900mhz, however you look at it)
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
1gb Kingston HyperX pc4000
Antec 400w psu

Now, when I look in the BIOS, it shows my memory listed as DDR400. Is this common?

Today, on a whim, I ran CPU-Z (v. 1.23.1), and on the memory tab it shows (besides the memory being pc3200):

Frequency = 151.4 mhz

FSB:DRAM = 3:2

CAS # latency - 3.0 clocks

RAS # to CAS # delay = 4 clocks

RAS # Precharge = 4 clocks

Cycle Time (Tras) = 8 clocks

Now, I don't understand alot about overclocking memory, but if I'm reading this correctly, I'm running a divider, and my RAM is running way slower than it should. Shouldn't pc4000 be able to run at a < 230mhz FSB at a 1:1 ratio with no problems? Am I being cheated out of some noticeable "real world" performance gains with my RAM running so slowly? TIA for any input you guys can give me.

PC4000 can run at 250 FSB. In the BIOS, set the DDR speed to 400, which would mean that the FSB and the memory are running at a 1:1 ratio.

Yeah, check your settings, PC4000 is rated for 250mhz(500mhz effectivly). Set it too 400mhz in the bios, or if you have dividers, set it to 1:1.

Thanks a bunch, guys. I didn't know that I had the DRAM frequency set to AUTO in the BIOS. All fixed now. :)
