OC'ing NIC database

I've noticed a lot of NICs under win2k/xp are really picky about being OC'd and cause a lot of instability.
I'm wondering if people could post their own results/experiences or any info they have that might be handy? specifically which brands seem to be the best at taking increased PCI clock rates

both of my dlinks (10mbit and 100mbit) seem to be doing fine =)

This is just a guess, but I would think if you got a 32-bit 66 MHz NIC it might be better for overclocking, since it can handle a 66 MHz PCI bus speed.

My Intel Pro 100/S works fine at 44MHz PCI. A generic Realtek 8139-based card did not. Both were tested under Win2k on my BX-based mobo.

forgot to contribute my own exp.
seen 2 linksys cards that didn't like anything that wasn't default (10/100BT fast ethernet, version 4 and one that was made by some company linksys bought out), a no namer (forgot) that works fine slightly OC'd but don't know the limit and a dlink that also works fine and once again don't know the limit. going to be able to test a 3com soon, I'll let you guys know what that gets.
