OC'ing my first rig

I just finish putting together my first rig. I'm just shy of the CPU and Ram, as for I would like to make sure I get the best overclocking combo for my 939 board.

I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium. I have opted for a 4800+ and 2gb dual channel ram.

What would be my ideal settings in the bios for overclocking and what would be the ram that will work the best for these? Is it possible to hit 2.6-2.7 on stock air ?

Need lots of help as for I have read a lot about overclocking but i'm very lost when it comes to multipliers, vcore, ram timings, etc.
