OC'ing Fury X

When I first purchased the Fury X on release date, I had no issues overclocking it. Up until about a year ago or so, one of the AMD gpu driver updates completely broke overclocking for the Fury X. Whenever I try to increase clocks or even just voltage, performance drops 75%.

Has anyone found a work around for this?

What program are you using to overclock?

If you're sure what the problem is, perhaps consider installing an older driver.

Is Fury X even getting driver updates to help in new games, or is there really no advantage in continuing to update to the latest driver iterations? I don't know maybe someone else can chime in.

Sapphire Trixx and I have tried AMD's GPU application as well.

That is a possible work around, but I would prefer to be on the latest driver release if possible. So I guess this would be my last resort.

Sapphire Trixx hasn't been updated to use the latest AMD power management SDK. What you are experiencing is a result of that. You can't use Trixx to OC. AMD Wattman works though. If it doesn't you might need to clean install the drivers.

Thank you for the tip. Is there any other app besides AMD Wattman that should work for overclocking? I absolutely hate the interface for Wattman.
