O'Cing doesn't work well..

Hi,

I have an Athlon 1.4GHz on a Gigabyte 7DXR. This same processor has been OC'ed to 1.533 GHz on an MSI K7T266A Pro without problem. My GB mobo will overclock to 1.533GHz and runs relatively stable(no difference compared to 1.4GHz) in Windows, however it refuse to post on reboots. It boots up fine and runs great if I turn off the power and turn it back on in 5 seconds. What gives?

I have a GA7DXR and I am experiencing the same thing. If I shut it down, it will reboot fine, but if I restart it hangs up. I think I will try the EPoX 8kha+. It's only 105.00 plus S&H on pricewatch.

I had a problem like that on my Gigabyte board, it was a flakey power supply. I wasn't even overclocking.
