I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with an Athlon XP 2000. I was trying to over clock my system but am not quite sure how to. I see that there is a memory speed and a FSB speed. I havent OC'ed on a newer system, just PIII's. Any one explain how the architecture work and OC'ing.

Thanks.

Here is an OCing guide for Athlon XPs that I found with Google. I'm sure you could find others using a search engine.

up the FSB a little bit (4 or 5 MHz) at a time and find out where the system becomes unstable, then back it off a bit, and thats your max MHz for the processor. then drop the mutli on the processor so that you're under that by quite a bit and keep upping the FSB speed.

Well the weird thing is that there is a an external CPU frequency and then a memory ferquency. There is a also a resulting frequency. What is all that???

Okay, kinda off topic, but it's driving me crazy:

-------------------------
"Touch not less ye be touched"

Less? I think the word you meant to use is "lest."

I think that its short for unless. touch not, unless ye be touched. But the guy in the movie said touch not less ye be touched.

Hm. But the quote is obviously a parody of Matthew 7:1 ("Judge not, lest ye be judged."), so you'd think they'd stick to "lest."
