When I use Rivatuner to OC my 8800 GTS I have the option to link the shader clock to the core clock so when the core goes up the shader goes up as well. My question is : Is there any technical problem if I unlink them and, for instance, rise the shader clock over its linked value ?

No your card shouldn't crap out on you if you do that. I've done it before and nothing bad happens. You may also be able to squeeze a little bit more performance from the card.

Yes, thats exactly the reason I was asking...shader clock is not raised enough when I raise the core clock :D thanks.
