OCing an opteron 170 on a Foxxconn 6150 board

Hi, I'm new to OCing and I cant get my processor to OC. No matter what setting I change in the bios, all the programs say my processor is still running at 2GHz. I tried changing the CPU frequency and the PCIE clock. And I dont know if this other stuff matters, but I had the CPU spread spectrum on center, and the HAMMER FID control wont go higher than 10x and I had cool and quiet off. Can someone please help me out, thanks.🙁
