OCing 1st time voltage help

I managed to get my X2 4800 up to 2.6ghz however I am failing prime 95. I was wondering if bumping up the DDR volts would help stabilize. Right now it is set on auto and I am not sure what voltage auto is. I have the options of 2.6 thru to I think past 3.0. Anyone think it will help? And if so where should I start? OC guides say .3 increments up to 7.5 but i am not sure what volts I am starting from.

use the mem divider in bios to bring RAM out of the question, then if you are failing prime at 2.6 @ stock voltage, up the CPU voltage... and try prime again

remember to run 2 instances of prime95
