OC'ed E6700 lifespan longer than E6600?

I never was to OC but from what I see maybe it's time to change my mind . Anyway my question is. Do you think that E6700 because it has higher clock, he's lifespan when OC'ing might be longer that OC'ed E6600?

It's hard to say. None of these chips will likely have significantly lowered lifespans unless you really crank the vcore. The E6600 could be thought of as having a shorter lifespan due to the fact that lots of E6600 chips out there seem to need more volts for good ~3.6ghz overclocks than the E6700 needs. The multiplier just doesn't seem to be the issue, it's probably more related to binning than anything else.

I'm undervolting my E6600 to 1.225V from my Asus board's default of 1.325V - and I currently have it overclocked to a 300FSB. Somehow I'll be amazed if I've shortened the lifespan doing that ;-)

Short answer is No. Long answer is, any increase in lifespan will be insiginifcant compared to the increased capital cost at time of purchase.
