Oc'd Hercules 3D Prophet II MX hangs system on reboot..

Hmmm...having pushed up the clock settings on my Hercules 3D Prophet II MX for some reason I chose to restart the system instead of just changing settings without a restart. Now, I guess because I am too far OC'd, the system hangs on reboot. How can I reset the clock settings on video card such that system will boot again?
 
Can you get into safe mode?if you can you can remove the card and drivers from device manager then on reboot it will redetect the card and you can reinstall the drivers at default speed.
 
always keep a cheap vga card on hand or buy one. stick it in the machine and then uninstall you herc drivers.

 
Thanks guys. Turns out I could get into safe mode and sort it out from there...now why didn't I think of that. 😱
