I am using this motherboard to oc my Athlon 64 3200. I was reading that people lower the ht to oc the cpu. So far I have not messed around with the ht and left it at 4 and I am currently running at 2.35 gigs at a "bus speed" of 235. Do I ned to lower the ht or should I leave it alone. If it is right then I am having an ht of 940 which is well below the supported 1000. right? So I do not need to mess with it?

Where did you get the shuttle board from? 2.35GHZ is pretty sweet, what cooling, RAM and PSU are you using?

Yes, you want to change your HT speed to stay around the max of the board. TBH, HT speed really doesn't seem to affect performance much, the 600 mhz HT on the 150 performs like the 800 mhz HT on the K8T800 and the 1000 mhz HT on the 250 anyway.

That's a good oc but I'd try to lower the multiplier and max out your fsb speed. What kinda ram ya got?

I got the mobo from newegg when they were $79 great board for the price. I am using the Termaltake Silent Boost K8. I have mushking pc3200, but the board does not seem to like it. I was not able to get 220 out of it even when relaxing the timings and upping the voltage so I am at the 6:5 divider. The ps is an Antec true 430. Geforce FX5900NU at ultra speeds. Adaptec SCSI 29160, cheetha 15k, Quantum Athlas III as secondary drive and pretty much that is the whole setup. I was able to do 250 bus speed on a p4 system with 2.8 volts on the memory but the chaintec does not like it. I might trade it for some Gail memory since I have been reading that these boards like the gail memory. I am getting some kingston HyperX 4000 and I will try it too. I am going up litle by little until I reach the max stable oc :). The chaintec does not allow for mutiplier decreasing :( Maybe in a new bios it will :). So far I am really happy with the system.
