this mobo won't let me adjust the multiplier or voltage in bios. theres not even an option for it. only fsb. does anyone know if theres a way around this. it came with the nvidia overclocking utility but that won't even boot. i can use warpspeeder........but that has its glitches also. any ideas are apppreciated

The only way to change either, if your motherboard doesn't allow it, is to hard-mod the cpu, or pin-mod the cpu. Here's a link to how to do the pin-mod.

edit: Of course, if your motherboard doesn't have a divider for 333mhz cpu's, you aren't going to able to go much above 138mhz with the fsb, anyway.

ok......i got one that raises the multiplier so i can run it at 2195........right now i'm running it at 1950 with a temp of 24 degrees..........so i should be able to get that out of it......keep it cool and stable.....

Only overclocking method that i know of with that board is increasing the FSB. Hard modding the multiplier on the cpu should also work. No possibility of voltage adjustments. There is a reason it only costs 50 dollars. Use it in my kids box running a 2500+ at 11x184= 2024 mhz. to bad there are no volt adjustments as this chip certainly acts as if it wants to go to 2.2 ghz with a litlle more juice. It is equipped with a different clock generator chip that doesn't have the ability to change multipliers as i understand it unlike the M7NCD pro which does have the option.

thats what i am lookin inot is the pro model. you say that i can change the multiplier in bios with that model......can i also adjust the voltage.........this board was refered to me by someone who thought it was a different one.........not really into hard modding.....to much of a pain....

can't be hard modded. The pro model has what you are wanting. The board simply is not equipped with the correct hardware to allow changing the multiplier and voltages. You will have to live with default voltages or exchange it for the pro version.
