OC with ATI Tray Tools

Anyone here with a 4870x2 ever OC it with ATI Tray Tools with out the CCC installed...

I put the Tray Tools to mess around and notice that the card works well in stock... but when i try to OC it.. everything gets crazy on the screen even with the stock 3D speeds lol... but when i launch a game the card it self set up the stock 3D speed fine and works fine and so on...

by the way the overdrive in Tray Tools isnt working at all...

my version is 1.6.9.1382
 
ATI Tray Tools used to work fine with my 4870 (single), but I had CCC installed. You could try installing CCC.
