oc w/ 9800 pro?

i purchased a hercules 9800 pro recently and just installed it on a new comp, but when i tried to use the hercules 3d tweak program (oc program), it would not let me oc beyond 385/344 core/mem. it allows me to set it higher, but when i click apply it automatically goes back to 385/344. anybody have this card or know what the deal is?

no way to tell the core temp since - unlike the 9800xt - there is no thermal probe. It will artifact (usually) b4 any overheating occurs.

Safetly? 385/344 - at least that is what Hercules has determined.

I had my Asus radeon 9800 pro at 398/712. A few days later the fans died on it : (

Mine will get 399/351 before artifacts appear on the nature test of 3dmark03.
