OC Temps & Voltage for Opty Rig

I have an Opteron 165 w/ A8r32 mobo. I've overclocked my processor to 2700mhz at 1.44-1.46 volts at temperature around 57C at load(prime95) and about 44C at idle. Are these safe temps/safe volts for this opty to last me for a while? Please note that temps are taken from the motherboard and my old temp monitor measured 3-4C less than this mobo usually.

Those temps are fine. 57c and 1.46v is well within the safe threshhold. What HSF are you using? Stock or aftermarket?

Prime95 testing right now. Prime95 fails everytime i hit 56-57C with 2700mhz. Bumped it down to 2600mhz at 1.42-1.44v - average 56-57C with Prime95 testing. I am using a Scythe Ninja Heatsink with 1 120mm nexus mounted on it. One Nexus exhaust and an antec tricool on top set @ low. All of this in a p180 and it would be very quiet if it weren't for that ****** 7900 gt cooler which I'm going to replace soon. Thanks for all the help, btw!

Also a quick thing I forgot to mention. I've not given AS5 time to set in yet according to the 200hours setting time on the AS5 website. Only been 3-4 days with the rig up and i've run prime on it maybe 20-25 hours total. Do you think that temps will go down further upon the AS5 setting in?

57 seems to be a critical Temp...when I reached that in the past, my core 0 also failed soon. Currently with another water block I can stay below, so I keep the 2700 :D
However my idle is ~34C...but that may be due to water and RMClock...

It's weird, though, doctorweir, both cores right now are able to run at 57C with 1.41v at 2600mhz but not at 2700mhz as before. Granted, I did lower the voltage a bit to 1.42 from 1.44-1.46. Currently testing prime95, one hour has passed so I guess I'll just leave it on 2morrow and see if this o/c lasts.

The benefit of water is you can run it silent as well as cool while on air you have to give or take. Hey if this o/c is prime95 stable then I have an fx60 so I'm not complaining!

EDIT* I stand corrected my idle is not 44C(I think I measured right after prime). It's more like 38-40C.

I also noticed something weird but concerning. Under idle my vcore goes up to 1.46 while under load (i.e. Prime95) it goes DOWN to 1.42.

Okay this is an update:

60C load
40C idle

Opteron 165:
290 x 9 = 2610mhz @ 1.44-1.46v

G.Skill 2GB HZ:
This ram chokes at 260 even at 2.7v. I lowered the voltage and am running it on a 133 divider.

237MHZ or DDR474

3-4-4-8 @ 1T

Suggestions?
