What does people use to test the stability of their box? Do you just use torture tests (RC5/Seti@Home) and see if it dies? What about potential errors that may not kill the tests?

Just trying to test how well my box is running

Give 3Dmark 2000 a shot....Seems to stress system pretty good....You could always run RC5 or something else in the background with it also to make sure!!! Available Here But is kinda a large download with dialup connection so you might wanna do it off peak times.

thanks folks.

It seems like burnInTest is the only one that tests for data corruption (I think).

All the other tests seems to stress the box out and, if oc too much, the box blue screens.

I am still debating why my Seti@home stuff is all goofed...I'll try downloading the data packet again. Maybe bad data (or bad data because I *GASP* defrag'ed...)
