I hope that you have a solution to my problem.
I've been overclocking my celeron 566 @ 850 on an Abit BX-6 rev. 1 using an MSI slotket for 2 years using the last BIOS revision. I could not install Windows XP because the board didn't like it. Rather than make a major chip/mobo upgrade at this time, I bought a new Soyo mobo for 50 bucks with the intent to continue OC ing my trusty CPU. I installed the chip and WiIN XP. However the chip will only run at 8.5 x 66mhz.The manual states that the board is highly overclockable, and demonstrates screen shots showing adjustments to the FSB. However, when I enter the bios there are no such options for the 100 FSB or for voltage adjustments. I have the latest bios.
Does anyone have any OC experience with this board?
Thanks
