could anyone suggest a good software to oc my gf2 gts. All that I use seem to crash my games. Thanks.

Possible indication that your card doesn't like to o/c.

It happens. A lot.

I'd recommend RivaTuner from Guru3D. it works great with my GF3, though tenoc is right in that you may be overclocking too much, so go slowly and work your way up a few MHz at a time...
