OC Software installation

I read somewhere on the board that when a comp is oc'd you're not supposed to install software. can anybody verify this?

That is BS. You can install what you like, when you like.

Only caveat is if your rig is not stable, you probably shouldn't be installing S/W, but you should be fixing your bombs first anyhow, if it's not rock.

My system is OC'd by 50%, and I install Software all the time, no prbs.
