How can you tell if you have reached the maximum speed in MEM or CPU? I do not know which I have reached. I start to get artifacts (weird screen), but the system still runs. I run a 2600+ at 133 x 16 (normal) I tried 166 X 12.5 which should not be a problem, but I get a funny screen. Since it is only a lame overclock (actually a slight UNDERCLOCK 2133mhz to 2083mhz), I have no clue. The chip will do 2400mhz (150x16), I know this because it did it on my K7S5A with cheap ram, at stock vcore. I got Kingston Hyper X 2700, and I have not excedded 166fsb. Could it be a timing thing since I think my mem is rated at CAS2.0 2 2 2 5. I am :-( and wondering wtf is up.

thers not a hard number when you o/cing. you just have to play around with it for awhile to see what you can get. it could work one day and a few weeks late not work.....its not really an exact science more like trial and error, and than error again:p
