OC Question - Multiplier or FSB?

GasX

Lifer
When I first started reading about OCing, I figured you just play with the FSB and multiplier settings until you found the one that got you the highest MHz rating.

Apparently this is not the case...

Apart from the small difference in speed is there a big difference between the following settings? Which is preferably higher multiplier or FSB?

8.0 x 113 = 904MHz
8.5 x 105 = 892.5MHz
9.0 x 100 = 900 MHz

Which is preferably higher multiplier or FSB? And what determines this preference?

Higher bus speed is going to give you better performance than a few Mhz gained in cpu speed. Make sure you have good RAM that can handle the higher bus speeds though.
