Hey all,
I tried to OC my system last night. First time, don;t even know why, I just wanted to. For starters, here is what I have:
T-Bird 900
Gigabyte 7zxr (not very oc friendly)
256 mb Micron ram
ATI Rage Fury Pro 32 mb
20 g WD hd
I did the pencil trick, don;t know how any could mess that up. I did it a couple of times and still had the same results. I fires up the system. With Gigabyte boards, you have to use a program called easytune to OC. I bumped it up just a little. (fsb to 101) which I know isn;t much, but I just wanted to see if it would work at all. I got nothing, machine locked up. It doesn;t matter what I set it at, if it isn;t at 100 fsb, it locks. Any ideas? Thanks...
